Privacy Policy

Q8xSToRe ("the app") is a standalone media player for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. It does not provide, host, sell or promote any media content, TV channels or streaming services. It plays only the playlists and streams that you add yourself.

1. Information we collect

The app collects the minimum needed to work:

• Device number. A random identifier generated by the app on first launch and stored on your device. It is not your hardware MAC address, IDFA or any Apple identifier. If a service provider activates your device, this number, the app version and the device model are sent to that provider's activation server so it can deliver your service settings.
• Playlist details. The server address, username and password of any playlist you enter are stored only on your device (in the app's private storage) and are sent only to the server you specified, in order to play your content.
• Viewing state. Favourites, resume positions and recently watched items are stored on your device so the app can continue where you left off. They are never uploaded.

2. What we do not collect

• No account, name, e-mail or phone number is required.
• No analytics, advertising identifiers or tracking across apps or websites.
• No location data, contacts, photos or microphone access.

3. Third-party content and servers

Streams, channels, artwork and programme guides are loaded directly from the servers you add. Those servers are operated by third parties and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices. Artwork for movies and series may be supplemented from The Movie Database (TMDB) using only the title, which is not personal data.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to access any content you add to the app. The app does not endorse streaming copyright-protected material without permission.

4. Data retention and deletion

All data lives on your device. Deleting a playlist removes its credentials; deleting the app removes everything. A service provider that activated your device may keep the device number in its own records; contact the provider to have it removed.

5. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
